I have been using midipiano for playing piano melodies, however keyboards are not really well suited for playback. The keys loop around and requires too much thinking just to remember various key locations.
I've noticed that if you have two keyboards plugged in, you can utilize both of them at the same time. Using this setup with midi piano this did not lead to a much more satisfying result. Both of the keyboards were 10keyless, yet there was still a large gap due to the extra space of the arrow keys. This combined with some keys being of differing sizes, causes this setup to be much less effective than necessary. In the future I will attempt to remap the keys in midipiano for a better setup.
